What is CloudRetry and how does it work?
CloudRetry is a Windows and Linux application that downloads files and folders from Yandex Disk, Mail Cloud and Dropbox to your computer. It automatically retries failed downloads, preserves the queue and verifies downloaded files. Resume is available when the server supports it and the source file has not changed. Files download directly to your computer. Their contents and your download queue are not sent to the developer.

Product name and spelling
The English name is CloudRetry, combining cloud and retry. Cloud Retry is the spaced spelling. Its Russian name is Клауд Ритрай; КлаудРитрай, Клауд Ретрай and КлаудРетрай refer to the same download application.
ClaudRetry is a misspelling if you mean this cloud download manager. CloudRetry is unrelated to the Claude chatbot. Its official domain is cloudretry.com.
What the application does
CloudRetry helps save photos, videos, work folders and other accessible files when downloads fail or require repeated attempts. It preserves the queue, retries unfinished tasks and verifies downloaded files.
Connect your cloud account or add a supported link, choose a local destination and start downloading. Keep the computer and application running with internet access. Retries cannot guarantee a download if the cloud service never returns the data.
Supported clouds and platforms
The published version supports Yandex Disk, Mail Cloud and Dropbox on Windows x64 and desktop Linux x86-64 with glibc 2.35+, X11/XWayland and Secret Service. Russian and English are available in settings.
CloudRetry is a desktop application, not a cloud storage service. It downloads files directly from your chosen cloud to your computer.
Drime integration
The Drime integration is being prepared: personal files, folders shared with your account, workspaces and public links, with retries, resume and file verification. It is under review before general availability and is not yet enabled in the published version. Only read permissions are requested. Files and tokens are not sent to the developer.
Who can see your files and what data is sent
No. Files download directly from your chosen cloud to your computer. Their contents, names, paths, your queue and cloud credentials are not sent to the developer. Service requests are used for licensing, updates and cloud availability. Support messages and technical reports are sent only at your request and with your consent. Your cloud provider handles file requests under its own policies; servers receiving service requests see your IP address and HTTP connection metadata. See Privacy for details.
Trial and pricing
The five-hour trial starts at first launch and includes time while the application is closed. Reinstalling does not reset the trial on the same computer.
A license costs RUB 499 once for one device, without a subscription. Test your own files before purchasing. Download and purchase links are available on the official website.
Limitations
CloudRetry cannot recover deleted files or bypass access and download restrictions. Resume requires server support and an unchanged source file.
